Title:

 IT Programmer Analyst

 

 

Reports To:

Manager Information Systems

 

 

Position Description:

Under general supervision, performs analytical, technical, and administrative work in the planning, design and installation of new and existing Databases and Database Servers.

 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain multiple databases and develop procedure to insure the integrity of the database.
  • Develops a working plan for the acquisition and manipulation of data from existing Misumi operational systems into local databases for the purposes of analyzing sales performance, customers’ satisfaction as well as short & long term growth plans.
  • Makes suggestions as to the improvement and performance of current system databases.  Monitors systems performance after implementation.  Attends to general request for data and analytical reports from existing systems
  • Actively participates in the design and development of databases that support several aspects of the Misumi Sales and Marketing model as well as the day-to-day Customer Services activities.
  • Under general supervision by the Misumi Management Team develops a working model for a general reporting engine that will support both analytical as well as operational aspects of the operation.
  • Educate multiple users on the proper use of the software packages as well as databases to insure its usefulness and integrity.
  • Participates in the development and support of an inventory management system that utilizes hardware to automate tasks including barcode readers and supports real time shipping environment.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Manager.

 

 

Competency Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science/information technology.
  • 1 to 2 years experience maintaining multiple databases.
  • 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel and Access including module development to automate tasks.
  • General knowledge of CRM software data structures.
  • Knowledge of Barcode systems (MCL software package preferred BNR).
  • Extensive relational database experience: MS SQL, Stored Procedures, views, strong DTS knowledge, Database Maintenance Plans, and backup and recovery procedures.
  • Experience with SQL Query optimization and performance tuning.
  • Programming languages: Excel VBA, Visual Basic, Strong MSSQL, any web programming experience in .Net is a nice to have but not necessary.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills.

Title:

Logistics Coordinator - QCT

 

 

Reports To:

QCT Manager

 

 

Position Description:

Responsible for preparation of daily orders, closing daily orders once complete, and completing related daily reports.  Works with customer service, accounting and other departments to ensure the above is completed on a daily basis.  Performs other logistics related office duties. 

 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Processes all of company shipments and is responsible for the tracking and freight charges to be appropriately stored and billed to customers.
  • Prepares packing slips for daily orders.
  • Responsible for daily closing process of all orders shipped.
  • Verify and record arrival of daily product received.
  • Works with freight vendors to ensure completion of all daily truck shipments.
  • Assist with shipping and QCT processes in the warehouse when needed.
  • Backup for administrative assistant.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Manager.

 

 

Competency Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum one year of logistics experience required.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Excellent problem solving, interpersonal and conflict management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
